DSKIN adds 1-4 randomly selected pixel kittens (orange, white, black, tuxedo) to the bottom of your DSH Web interface. The cats walk, play, can be dragged, hung from the top edge, and change outfits individually. It is a pure skin plugin that does not modify layouts, inject services, or touch model requests, and fully restores upon uninstall.

How do I install DSKIN?

You can install DSKIN by running 'dsh plugin --profile web add github:dancingmemory/dskin' in your terminal. Make sure you have the DSH CLI installed. If you use pnpm ≥10, you may need to add 'allowBuilds: dskin: true' to your profile's pnpm-workspace.yaml. After installation, restart the DSH web service with 'dsh web' to see the kittens.

Can I use DSKIN outside of DSH?

No. DSKIN is a plugin specifically designed for the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) Web GUI. It only runs inside the DSH web page (default http://127.0.0.1:3080) and is not a browser extension. It will not appear on other websites or in other applications.

Does DSKIN collect my data?

DSKIN does not collect any data. It has no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party scripts. The only network request is a read-only check to GitHub every 6 hours to see if a new version is available. All your kitten settings are stored in your browser's localStorage and are not sent anywhere.

How do I change the number of kittens or their breed?

Click the paw icon (🐾) in the bottom-right corner of the DSH page. Use the '−' and '+' buttons to add or remove kittens. To change a kitten's breed, first click on the kitten you want to change (it will be selected), then click one of the breed buttons (Big Orange, White, Black, Tuxedo). The change applies only to the selected kitten.

How do I uninstall DSKIN completely?

Run 'dsh plugin --profile web remove dskin' in your terminal, then restart the DSH web service with 'dsh web'. The kittens will disappear and the page will be fully restored to its original state. No residual files or settings remain.
